
Dr. Timothy Flora, DC, CCSP
Dr. Flora has been in practice since 1981. He received his Doctor
of Chiropractic degree from Western
States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon and continues to attend classes and seminars
to keep abreast of the ever-expanding knowledge base in the health
profession. Dr. Flora is also a Certified
Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). He has taken extended courses in orthopedics and rehabilitation,
which has given him valued insight in treating chronic and difficult
conditions.
Beyond his Chiropractic training,
Dr. Flora has also taken extensive training in Active Release
Soft Tissue Management (ART®). He
is presently a certified ART® instructor. Additionally, he
is credentialed in the Study of Biomechanics, which deals with
the proper and improper mechanical motion of the human body. This
is used to analyze essential functions such as walking, throwing,
running, etc.
Because of his training and experience, coupled with his interest
in athletic performance and the treatment of injuries, Dr. Flora
has been invited to treat the athletes at many athletic events
including the NCAA Track and Field Championship Meets and the 2004 and 2008
US Olympic Track and Field Trials.
Dr. Flora's treatment methods combine joint manipulation, soft
tissue techniques, physiotherapy, and specific rehabilitation exercises
that strengthen weakened muscle groups and assist in preventing
relapse. His Chiropractic philosophy is best described as a biomechanical
approach to dysfunction, as supported by scientific study.
Dr. Trevor Stauber, DC
Dr. Trevor Stauber was raised in Oregon where he attended Oregon State University, majoring in General Science. He went on to complete his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. He then finished his Doctorate at the University of Western States in Chiropractic. Currently, he is working on attaining a Master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
Beyond his Chiropractic training, Dr. Stauber has also become certified in soft tissue techniques including Active Release Technique (ART®) and Graston Technique®. Another area of Dr. Stauber’s interest is individualized functional exercise programs to improve and enable patients’ physical performance capacity, allowing them to handle job demands and normal daily living. His treatment method is an evidence based, non-invasive, active approach to dysfunction.
In his spare time, Dr. Stauber enjoys golfing, wakeboarding, running, surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and newborn daughter. |
